NRA Training Counselor – NRA No. 21063223: 

I am an NRA Training Counselor which means that I train the trainers.  I am able to train and certify NRA instructors in the all the NRA disciplines that I am allowed to teach.  There are only about 2500 training counselors in the United States. 

NRA Basic Firearms Instructor - NRA No. 21063223: 

I am certified to teach basic firearms course for Pistol, Shotgun and Rifle.  These courses are introductory courses to teach the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning an using a firearm safely. 

NRA Self-Defense Instructor - NRA No. 21063223: 

I am certified to teach Personal Protection Inside the Home and Personal Protection Outside the Home.  Both of these classes are designed to teach situational awareness, self-defense plans, and the legal moral, ethical aspect of using deadly force.  I am also a Defensive Handgun Instructor which teaches advanced handgun techniques only.  I am also a Concealed Carry Weapon or CCW Instructor which is a modular class that we can customize a course based on the needs of the student. 

NRA Refuse To Be A Victim Instructor - NRA No. 21063223: 

This class is a non-firearm related class that teaches you about being aware of your surroundings, techniques how to avoid situations, different non-lethal self defense options, techniques for not being a victim of social media scams, home invasions, abductions etc. 

NRA Coach - NRA No. 21063223: 

I am an NRA coach for Competitive Pistol which means I can help develop training curriculum for individuals interested in shooting in competitions like the Olympics or local matches.  I am also a Practical Pistol coach which means I can help individuals learn about the use of handguns for defensive purpose. 

USCCA Instructor 

I am a United States Concealed Carry Association Instructor.  This rating allows me to a Basic Pistol Class, a Home Defense Fundamentals, Concealed Carry Fundamentals, First Aid Fundamentals, and Countering the Mass Shooter. 

4-H Shotgun Instructor 

I also am certified to teach shotgun for the 4-H shooting program. 

Shooting Club Chief Instructor: 

I have been Chief instructor at Airfield Shooting Club (Wakefield, VA) since March of 2107.  At this club I am responsible for all shooting education offered at the club and developing club instructors and RSOs.   

From 2007-2017 I was the Lead instructor at Norfolk County Rifle Range.  There I was responsible for all the training occurring in the club. I had 13 instructors supporting me. We ran NRA First Steps Pistol, NRA Basic Pistol Classes and NRA Basic Shotgun Classes.
